Meet our teacher
Svetlana Titkova
Chess coach, social emotional coach
Svetlana has been playing chess professionally since she was 9 years old. She competed in women's chess championships in Russia and won a Vladivostok women's championship in 1997.

The uniqueness of the game of chess is that it exposes human behavior: our ability to persevere, manage emotions when we lose, come back to the chessboard after a disappointing performance, handle a playing partner and many more. In a way, chess is a training ground for life. This game is the game of kings and queens.
